thanks for again sponsoring this long lived, popular tradition. One question. I have raced throughout the country and internationally. Despite your tradition of how things have been done in the past, this is the only race I am familiar that has such a narrow age group listing. 45 to 64 is not really encouraging for those of us senior who are wishing to continue being competitive. Any chance of a practical modification of age brackets to reflect more of a cross section of athletes?
I agree with onelincoln's comment. How about 5 year age categories over 45? We don't need anything more than a dime-store ribbon...and bragging rights! Joanne
This will be my first year running this so I'm curious about the race route, is the course flat, and where should I park on race day. Any help on these questions is much appreciated! See you there!
How about making sure people who pre-register get the shirt size they order? I registered the first week it opened up and ended up with a large shirt. I got through the line at about 9am and they just started running out of mediums. I talked to 2 young ladies who registered race day and both got small shirts. The correct shirts should be ordered and people who got the wrong size should be able to exchange shirts.
I couldn't agree more with the T shirt post. We all know we don't run for the T shirts, but it's nice to have a new, fancy long sleeve. The point is moot, however, if it's 3 sizes too big. I've had this problem before...surely something can be done.
